Nine Questions With K-Oz Boss Grady Scott Stewart

Grady Scott Stewart Boss of K-Oz One Of Australia’s Top MMA Organisations

Perth based K-Oz Entertainment made quite a splash in their first year with four successful shows including their first championship bouts.

1) Tell me about your lowest point in 2012 and what you learned from it?

Lowest point would probably be when I re-injured my back after Bragging Rights IV. I learned to listen to the doctors, they might actually know what they are talking about.

2) And on a happier note please tell us about your highlight of 2012?

I think the High Light of 2012 was successfully being the only organisation in Australia to bring over any UFC Hall of famer to their fights. Tito Ortiz made it a big success. He was great for the fans.

3) What is your hope for your organisation in 2013?

K-Oz entertainment wants to pull off an all star cast Elimin8tor. Winner takes all tournament. We are also looking to put together a Fight Team (Name of Major Sponsor TBA). Fighters will try out and be the best of the best. Also we have in the works an aired reality TV show. Fighters will compete just like on TUF only the winner gets $100,000 for winning it not a contract that you have to fight several times for the $100k

4) What in your opinion was the highlight of Worldwide MMA in 2012?

I’m probably a minority on this point but I loved the Lauzon VS Miller fight that just happened.

5) What do you think is the weakest area of Asian Pacific MMA?

That is a tough one to answer because I dont know all of the Areas that are competing. That being said maybe marketing to the western world could be more mainstream.

6) What does the UFC coming more and more into the Asian Pacific area mean to you?

Means World Wide Domination. It also means we will be discovering a lot more talented fighters.

7) What was your fight of the year in 2012?

Lauzon VS Miller

 8) Who would you most like to work with in 2013?

I’d like to get GSP out here for a show.

9) If you did not work in MMA what would you be doing?

I’d be a debt collector. Lol! Id probably be doing sales somewhere.

Our grateful thanks to Grady:

You can watch Bragging Rights V on Saturday 23rd February featuring Kendall “Da Spider” Grove (17-11) vs Jesse “JT Money” Taylor (24-9)
