Katsunori Kikuno vs. Quinn Mulhern set for UFC Fight Night 34

A Lightweight match-up between Katsunori Kikuno (20-5-3) and Quinn Mulhern (18-3) has been set for Singapore, January 4th.

UFC Tonight announced the bout via Twitter.

Former DEEP Lightweight Champion Kikuno began his Mixed Martial Arts career back in 2005, and since then competed mainly under the DEEP and DREAM banners.

This will mark his promotional debut with the UFC. He’s currently on a 3-fight win streak, finishing all three by way of stoppage.

The Alliance-Square native has fought twice this year submitting Yong Jae Lee, and knocking out Jutaro Nakao.

His opponent Mulhern is a former Strikeforce veteran, and made his UFC debut earlier this year taken on Rick Story, Quinn would go onto lose the contest via TKO in the first round.

Prior to the fight he racked up a 3-fight win streak.

This will be the grapplers first fight at Lightweight, as he was scheduled to face both Ryan Couture and Thiago Tavares but was sidelined due to injury.

Here’s how the card looks thus far:
