ONE FC 13: Moment of Truth adds four contests

Titled “Moment of Truth”, this will be ONE FC’s thirteenth installment since its inception in 2011, and its third visit to the Philippines.

ONE FC 13: Moment of Truth is set to be headlined by a title rematch between reigning champ Koji Oishi (24-9-10) and challenger, Honorio Banario (8-2). The likes of WBC Asian Atomweight Women’s champ Jujeath Nagaowa (0-0), and long-time Filipino MMA hero Eduard Folayang (12-4) have also been announced, although their opponents are yet to be named.

Now, the event has four new additions.

The first of which sees former Strikeforce vet Caros Fodor (8-3), fresh off a victory in his ONE FC debut, locking horns with South African Muay Thai extraordinaire, Vuyisile Colossa (pictured). Fodor displayed an excellent showing at ONE FC 10, handing up-and-comer Yang Seung Ho the first defeat of his pro MMA career. The 29-year-old AMC Pankration native will be looking to make it 2-0 under the ONE FC banner, and vie for a shot at the 155-lbs strap.

Vuyisile Colossa (6-4), meanwhile, headlined the ONE FC 10 card opposite former title holder, Kotetsu Boku. The 31-year-old put on a three-round striking clinic en route to a Unanimous Decision victory, and has in fact, to date, taken on some of the very best in the Mixed Martial Arts landscape, including Nam Yui Chul and Lowen Tynanes among others. Colossa-Fodor promises to be a fight worthy of delivering fireworks, given the styles of both combatants.

Canadian Paul Cheng (3-1) will finally get his chance to strut his skills in the ONE FC cage when he takes on Alain Ngalani (1-0). Cheng, 35, holds a 3-1 record, with two first round finishes to his credit. His opponent, Ngalani, scored a dazzling spinning heel kick knockout over Mahmoud Hassan in his pro MMA debut back in September, thrilling both fans and critics alike. He’ll be looking to impress with his striking game once again when he collides with Cheng.

The rest of the announced match-ups include a Flyweight tilt between Geje Eusaquio (4-2) and unbeaten PXC vet Eugene Toquero (4-0), and David Aranda Santacana (9-0) vs. Kevin Belingon (11-3) at 135-lbs.

ONE FC 13: Moment of Truth takes place December 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. Following free prelims on YouTube, fans can catch all the main card action on either Star Sports or http://www.onefc.livesport.tv/.
