Yokkao 7 to feature returning icon Saenchai, and Apidej Sitsongpeenong among others

The legendary Saenchai makes his return to the Yokkao banner on February 19, when Yokkao hosts its seventh installment at the Pattaya World Boxing Stadium.

Officials, on Saturday, confirmed details with Fight Sport Asia.

The event was originally planned for February 7 but with Saenchai scheduled to rematch Petboonchu at the Lumpini stadium, officials pushed forth Yokkao 7 to February 19 instead.

Saenchai, an icon in the Muay Thai circles, is a former WBC and WMC world champ, with a myriad of accolades to his name. He most recently featured on January 17 at Muay Thai warriors in Phuket, notching a third round TKO victory over Brazilian, Adayton Freitas. The victory also snapped a two-fight losing skid.

The 33-year-old’s opponent for Yokkao 7 is expected to be announced shortly.

Also announced for the February 19 card are Apidej Sitsongpeenong, Ekapop Sor Klinmee, Imiwset Pornnarai and Suedam Kauanjai.

Suedam fights for the first time since his resolute victory over Sinsamut Sor Klinmee at Yokkao 6. The 19-year-old is apparently causing a stir in the Muay Thai scene with his recent string of impressive performances.

Keep it locked to Fight Sport Asia as bring you fight card updates, information and more as we edge closer to Yokkao 7.
