ROAD Fighting Championship – Korea 002 “Korea vs. Japan” announces it’s First two bouts

ROAD FC officials have today announced the first two bouts for their upcoming event entitled ROAD FC – Korea 002 “Korea vs. Japan”.

The card is scheduled to take place March 9th at the Grand Hilton Convention Centre in Seoul, South Korea.

Lee Yoon-Jun (5-2) a Bantamweight who trains out of Team One is only seven fights into his Mixed Martial Arts career, but is already fast-tracking his way to becoming a staple for Korean MMA, not to mention a fan favorite for ROAD FC. Having began 2014 off the right way with a win over Won-Gi Kim at last months show, Lee now looks to extend his 3-fight win streak.

His opponent Kosuke Terashima (9-3-3) will be the man trying to halt the recent surge from the Korean native. A Pancrase veteran, Kosuke began his Mixed Martial Arts journey back in 2010 and gained recognition after winning his first six bouts. Known for his grappling, the 25-year-old is now becoming a well-rounded Mixed Martial Artist.

Welterweight Cha Jung-Hwan (10-6-3) looks to represent his promotion ROAD FC and at the same time end his recent string of bad luck, having fought his last two opponents to a Draw. With 2013 behind him, Cha aims to start 2014 off the right way. The 29-year-old has fought such names as Ryo Chonan, Andrews Nakahara, Igor Gracie and George Sotiropoulos throughout his career.

Standing across from the Korean is hard-hitting Kenta Takagi (10-7) who’s been on a roll as of late, ending his last two bouts in devastating fashion via KO. Having started his career back in 2008, it’s Pancrase where Takagi’s made a name for himself. Currently on a 2-fight win streak, Kenta looks to add the first of many knockouts on his record here in 2014.

This will be a thrilling match between two talented young fighters who want to make their mark in ROAD FC.

In the second bout announced, Cha “Stonecutter” Jung-Hwan will meet Kenta Takagi at welterweight. At ROAD FC 014, Cha’s student Choi Mu-Gyeom became the first ROAD FC World Featherweight Champion with a strong display of grappling and striking. Cha is extremely hungry to prove he is one of the best welterweights of the world with a win.

Kenta Takagi is an extremely experienced Pancrase fighter who has also fought in Sengoku, Cage Force, and Shooto. He is known for being a very tough striker with 9 KOs to his credit, and he has rarely been finished. Here are a few select apps that can help you with motivation, organization, and
