Full line-up for Yokkao 7: Saenchai vs. Victor Nagbe to serve as headliner

Following the success of Yokkao 5 and Yokkao 6 at the infamous Pattaya World Boxing Stadium, Muay Thai Combat’s Yokkao series is back with its seventh installment, set for February 19th later this week.

Officials confirmed the match-ups and information with Fight Sport Asia on Sunday.

As previously announced, the legendary Saenchai makes his return to the Yokkao banner. Saenchai, of course, needs no introductions whatsoever. He has long been identified as the reigning son of Thailand and Muay Thai. His last appearance in Yokkao came at Yokkao 5, where he picked up a victory over Singdam Kiatmoo9. Saenchai will meet Australia’s Victor Nagbe in the main event of Wednesday’s spectacle. Nagbe is coming off a victory over French champ, Fabio Pinca.

From the Yokkao Military Team, Apidej Sitsongpeenong, who at Yokkao 6 defeated Yacine Darkrim, will face off against Reunion Island’s Samuel Andoche.

Suedam Kauanjai, the latest 19-year-old talent from Lumpinee to enter the Muay Thai ranks, will fight at Yokkao 7 to determine his entrance into the prestigious ranks of the Yokkao Fight Team.

On the heels of two consecutive knockouts, Ekapop Sor Klinmee will face off against Geoffrey Riviere at 78kg/172-lbs. Ekapop will be competing out of his comfort zone, since he usually fights at 72.5kg/159.8-lbs to 75kg/165-lbs.

The show will also play host to the talented Imwiset Pornnarai, the only fighter who has fought in all eight Yokkao events to date.

Also scheduled for the event are Gery Bavetta, Kamen Picken, Samuel Andoche and Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu, a female fighter from USA who will be facing off against Lommanee Sor Hirun.
