UFC have announced return dates for both Macau and Japan later this year

Following Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 37 — Headlined by Welterweights Dong Hyun Kim (19-2-1-1) and John Hathaway (17-2) in a pivotal clash at 170-lbs.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced they would be making a U-turn to Macau, China as early as this year.

As well as China, Mixed Martial Arts giant have also revealed a return date to the world renowned Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan. That last played host to the UFC in March of 2013.

News of the dates were announced during the post-fight press conference held at the Cotai Arena, following today’s action. The UFC’s Managing Director of Asia, Mark Fischer stated that Macau’s third installment would be penciled in for August 25th.

Fischer also went on to say, the UFC will make it’s a long awaited return to Japan’s famed Saitama Super Arena on September 30th. Both UFC 144 & UFC on Fuel TV 8 were the last events held at the arena. This will mark the UFC’s (ZUFFA era) third trip to Tokyo, Japan.

*UFC plans on making 5-7 trips this year to Asia, with two already in the bag — Singapore & Macau.
