ONE FC: War of Nations Weigh-In Results

ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) returns tomorrow from the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Headlining the event sees Mixed Martial Arts veteran Brock Larson (37-7) take on Japan’s hard-hitting Nobutatsu Suzuki (10-1-2) for the promotions inaugural Welterweight title.

Team Lakay standout Kevin Belingon (12-3) makes his seventh appearance under the ONE FC banner, that most recently saw the Filipino close out 2013 with a devastating knockout. Standing across from Belingon will be one of Asia’s hottest commodities, Dae Hwan Kim (9-0-1), who made an immediate impact upon his debut late last year. The pair will face off in a thrilling encounter in the Bantamweight division, that has Fight of the Night written allover it.

Shooto’s former Bantamweight Champion Yasuhiro Urushitani (21-6-6) returns under the bright lights of ONE FC for the second time in his career, where he first took a Split Decision over Rey Docyogen, while Brazil’s Adriano Moraes (10-1) looks to bounce back following the first setback of his professional career.

Kamal Shalorus (8-3-2) welcomes Canada’s Ariel Sexton (8-2) on his promotional debut, as the 32-year-old enters the cage on a 3-fight win streak.

In what was meant to be an intriguing Flyweight match-up will now be contested at a Catchweight, as Phuket Top Team product Andrew Leone (6-2) meets fan favorite Shinichi Kojima (13-5-5), who tries to build off his impressive Submission win over Rey Docyogen.

Former ONE FC Lightweight Champion Kotetsu Boku (20-9-2) looks to get back in the win column and snap a 2-fight losing streak. Arnold Lepont (10-3), like his opponent also looks to get his hand raised for the first since 2012 in a must win fight for both men.

ONE FC: War of Nations will also play host to hometown favorite Peter Davis (7-3), as he aims to build up enough steam in order to challenge for the Lightweight title. Pakistan’s Bashir Ahmad steps up to the plate on short notice after protege Waqar Umar was pulled from the bout due to visa issues.

Sherilyn Lim who weighed in at 55.1kg, failed to make weight for the Strawweight bout against Ann Osman. The bout has been cancelled. ONE FC: WAR OF NATIONS is now complete with nine fights.

Holland: Tulip City, Michigan is a cultural feast of events: dance, art,
music and historic Hope College right downtown. Our day always started by walking a mile to the fitness trail for
an early morning jog. Charley was the inquisitive one but Chad was the one bold
    enough to ask the questions.
