Sangmanee vs. Sam-A confirmed for March 30th & Pakorn vs. Saeksan official for April 4th

Petchyindee and Onesongchai promotions have announced they will offer not one, but two blockbuster shows in Songkhla, Southern Thailand at the end of the month and beginning of April.

The cards will feature some of the biggest names in the sport, as well as a few dream match-ups thrown into the mix.

March 30th will be the first of two shows and will play host to the likes of Singdam, Superlek, Superbank, Pettawee, Chamuaktong, Rungphet, Ploiwittaya and Petlamsin.

But the main talking point between fans will be the main event, as Sangmanee Sor Tienpo finally meets living legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, in a much anticipated match-up that dates back to late last year.

The pair were scheduled to fight on October 8th, 2013. But after an undisclosed injury the bout was cancelled. Hopes were once again revived as Sangmanee and Sam-A were involved in the “King Fighter 4 Tournament”, that had the chance of seeing the duo face off in the final.

However, after losing in the semifinals, Sam-A was out of the competition. And instead Superbank fought the young phenom. Both men went back-and-forth exchanging blow-for-blow, before Sangmanee pulled away to win the prestigious title on Points after five entertaining rounds at Lumpinee Stadium.

Now, the 17-year-old gets the opportunity at challenging one of the sports greats when the pair meet later this month at 123-lbs, in what should be an intriguing battle of two well-respected technicians inside the ring.

1901831_485135278276026_811969717_nMuch like the first show, April 4th won’t be letting down any fans.

The card will feature Champions and former Champions at the helm as Nong-O, Petpanomrung, Detnarong, Khaimukkhao, Mondam, Aikmongkon, Wanchai, Satharnmuanglek, Nichao and Morakot all participate.

But in a well-deserved main event slot, fan favorite Pakorn looks to pit his aggressive style against the equally and just as dangerous Saeksan.

Pakorn, who won the Lumpinee Lightweight title after an incredible come-from-behind win against Singdam last month, now turns his attention to Saeksan.

Saeksan, like his upcoming opponent aims to continue winning ways, following a violent knockout over Penek Sitnumnoi, that sent his foe crashing face first into the canvas.

With both men known for their come forward mentality and Fight of the Year candidates this has all the makings to be an instant classic for the ages.
