ONE FC: Rise of Heroes adds an additional three bouts for next months card in Manila

ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) takes it’s first show to the SM Mall of Asia Arena on May 2nd for the promotions return trip to Manila, Philippines.

The event will be headlined by reigning Bantamweight Champion Bibiano Fernandes and former Shooto star Masakatsu Ueda.

Officials today announced an additional three bouts for the upcoming card — Kotetsu Boku vs. Eduard Folayang, Rey Docyogen vs. Josh Alvarez and Leandro Ataides vs. Tatsuya Mizuno.

CEO of ONE Fighting Championship™ Victor Cui stated, ONE FC is coming back to the iconic Mall of Asia Arena with the biggest MMA event Manila has ever seen! MMA fans in Manila will be blown away by the Filipino stars we have lined up to compete. Filipino heroes Eduard Folayang and Rey Docyogen will proudly represent the Philippines against world-class international competition. ONE FC is set to ignite the arena with an explosive evening of entertainment as the top mixed martial artists rise to the challenge on May 2!

Kotetsu Boku (21-9-2), a fan favorite in the sport who aims to get back in title contention, returns to the cage for a second time this year. The former ONE FC Lightweight Champion recently snapped a 2-fight losing streak defeating Arnaud Lepont at last months event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Fresh off his most recent outing, Boku looks to keep momentum going in 2014 when the Krazy Bee affiliate is paired off against Team Lakay product Eduard Folayang, in what should be a Fight of the Night candidate between two sluggers.

Eduard Folayang (13-4) steps into the ONE FC cage for the sixth time in his professional career. The 29-year-old debuted back 2011 and extended his 4-fight win streak after defeating Korean native A Sol Kwon.

Since making his promotional debut, the Filipino has amassed a 3-3 resume. Folayang, like his upcoming opponent got back in the win column following back-to-back losses.

This will mark the hometown favorite Folayang’s first bout of 2014. With both men known for their aggressive approach to fights, this has all the making to be an all-out war.

BiaD33oCYAERDtpRey Docyogen (10-2) entered the ONE FC cage back in 2013 with a lot of hype behind him, following a 10-fight win streak competing under the respected URCC promotion in his native Philippines.

Like the aforementioned Folayang, Docyogen resides out of the Team Lakay camp. The 30-year-old has not had it easy thus far in his ONE FC stint, having faced Mixed Martial Arts veterans Shinichi Kojima & Yasuhiro Urushitani — Losing both contests.

With a fresh start in 2014, Docyogen looks to get back on track and get his first win inside the famed ONE FC cage next month.

Josh Alvarez (12-6) began his journey in Mixed Martial Arts back in 2008 where he made his professional debut under the Pacific Xtreme Combat (PXC) banner. A native of Guam, Alvarez went on to win his first five fights, finishing all of them by way of stoppage.

After notching up another 5-fight win streak, ONE FC signed Alvarez. The Bantamweight made his promotional debut at last years ONE FC: Moment of Truth, where he lost to former Shooto Champion Koetsu Okazaki.

Tatsuya Mizuno (12-9) returns to the Middleweight division, following a successful debut over Rafael Silva.

At 32-years of age, Mizuno has mixed it up with the likes of Thiago Silva, Mirko Cro Cop, Melvin Manhoef and Gegard Mousasi throughout his career. Tatsuya now looks to use that wealth of experience pitting it against the unbeaten Brazilian Leandro Ataides.

Leandro Ataides (6-0) made his debut with ONE FC after competing in his native Brazil. Ataides, who trains out of the well-known Evolve MMA burst on to the Asian MMA scene knocking out Bryan Rafiq in November, 2013.

With the Middleweight roster wide open and without a Champion, Ataides looks to stake his claim at a shot of the gold. So when the promotion does look to crown it’s first 185-lb king, the Brazilian hopes to be considered.

Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get
advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
