Red Card Sports Radio w/ Arvind Lalwani, Rob Lisita and Will Chope

Up for some chatter and opinions on Asian MMA? Red Card Sports Radio, Singapore’s first Mixed Martial Martial Arts radio show, has you covered.

A recently launched monthly initiative, Red Card Sports Radio will be bringing you some unique and appealing content on all things Asian MMA for your listening pleasure.

In this edition, host Andy Whitelaw kicks us off with the South East Asian Grappling Challenge, a grappling competition (Gi + No Gi) that’s been making waves since its inaugural event in February. It’s second installment is set to go down at City Square Mall on June 7 and 8 in Singapore so if you’re a grappling enthusiast keen on exposing your skills, do come on down. Maher Aseeri joins us in plugging this event as well as chatting about the intricate details that surround the duties of being a combat sports referee.

In the second part of the show, we recap all the action that went down at ONE FC 15: Rise of Heroes earlier this month.

We welcome Phuket Top Team’s very own Rob Lisita, who stopped Yusuke Kawanago impressively on the main card. The Australian gives us a breakdown of how the fight went, how he felt this rematch was about redemption and what’s next for him in ONE FC.

Lastly, former UFC fighter and longtime Asian MMA staple Will Chope joins us in the studio. The lanky Californian opens up about his release from the UFC, how he’s moving forward in the aftermath, why he calls himself a journeyman in the sport and much, much more.

Arvind Lalwani, owner of Juggernaut Fight Club, and pro women’s 125-lbs fighter Danielle West, join Fight Sport Asia’s own Thinesh John as your studio guests.
