Rebel FC 2: Battle Royale – All but one hit their mark ahead of tomorrow’s event in Singapore

Rebel Fighting Championship (Rebel FC) returns tomorrow from Singapore’s Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Where the event will see the opening round of an eight-man Featherweight Tournament kick-off.

Among its competitors looking to advance are Will Chope, Mauricio dos Santos Jr, Reydon Romero, Yojiro Uchimura, Takahiro Ashida and Miguel Torres.

[Michael Tobin and Pat Promrangka were scheduled to compete at the show, but as Promrangka refused to make weight the bout was cancelled—Tobin will now get an automatic pass into the next round.]

Will Chope (19-7) steps back into the cage in hopes of ending a two-fight losing streak, while Mauricio dos Santos Jr (10-8) aims to make it three in-a-row over the former UFC fighter.

Reydon Romero (7-4) comes into the match-up riding a two-fight win streak after stopping his previous foes. Yojiro Uchimura (11-7-3), a hard-hitting veteran of the sport aims to make a name for himself and get back into the win column once inside the Rebel FC cage.

Takahiro Ashida (13-2-2) is currently 3-0 for the year thus far and sets his sights at extending that feat when paired against former WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres (41-7), who’s itching to build-off a previous outing over Giovanni Moljo at the turn of the year.

*Unfortunately Rebel FC won’t be offering any Live streams for the event, but will upload fights in the near future.
