MMA’s Future: 神部建斗 Kento Kambe

In the first of a series of articles on possible future MMA prospects, we examine one of Pancrase’s best prospects at Strawweight, Kento Kambe (神部建斗).  At just 17 years old, Kento is 3-0 in Professional MMA and 3-0 as an amateur.  Kento is an aggressive submission grappler that looks to finish the fight as soon as the bell rings.  Kento has an aggressive game off his back, hunting the finish with no fear of getting punched.  Kento controls his opponents on the ground, not letting them get off any offense as he is able to clamp onto his sneaky submissions.  He trains at Alliance in Japan with fighters like Katsunori Kikuno, Isao Terada and Tsuyoshi Kosaka.  With an improved striking and offensive wrestling game, Kento will be a fighter to watch for years to come.  Follow him on Ameblo and Twitter.
