Global Fighting Championships 4: Badr Hari Returns, 4-Man Tournament

 

Global Fighting Championships 4 takes place this Thursday, October 16th in Dubai.  The fight card is headlined by Badr Hari and Patrice Quarteron (38-5, 32 KO).  A 4-Man tournament featuring Tai Tuivasa, Ismael Lazaar, Mohamed Karim and Melvin Manhoef as well as the return of Luke Jumeau (6-3) against Mohammad Mansoori (1-3). Badr Hari is Kickboxing’s Bad Boy and is looking to make his return to the ring for the first time since May of this year.  That win was his second of the night as he knocked Stefan Leko out in the semi-finals and finished Peter Graham in the finals.  Badr Hari is the former K-1 Heavyweight Champion and It’s Showtime Heavyweight Champ.  Badr Hari has a kickboxing record of 104-12 and holds 90 knockout or TKO finishes.  He will be looking for the knockout, as will his opponent Patrice Quarteron.  Quarteron is a french-born kickboxer with 38 wins and 32 knockouts.  Patrice has won 23 of his last 25 fights, his only loss to Paul Slowinski.  Quarteron won his most recent bout against Luca Panto by TKO in June.

The last man to defeat Badr Hari makes his return to the ring.  Zabit Samedov is a heavyweight kickboxer with a 79-11-1 record, including 36 knockouts.  Samedov is on a 5 fight winning streak including wins over Stefan Leko, Melvin Manhoef and the aforementioned Badr Hari.  He will be fighting Iranian Kickboxer Jafar Ahmadi.  Luke Jumeau returns to face Iranian fighter Mohammad Mansoori.  Phuket Top Team’s Luke Jumeau is looking for his 7th professional MMA win.  MMA and Kickboxing veteran Melvin Manhoef will face Mohamed Karim in the semi-finals of a 4-Man tournament.  Enfusion Super Heavyweight Champ Ismael Lazaar (24-1-2) will face Australian Tai Tuivasa.
