Petchyindee Results: Petchutong Or. Kwanmuang Wins, Sittichai Stops Maruay

The event promoted by the Petchyindee Muay Thai camp took place on October 28th at the New Lumpinee Stadium.  In the main event, Petchutong was able to land a short right elbow at the end of the second round against Superlek Kiatmoo9 that cut the forehead of the popular Thai fighter.  Superlek tried his best to get inside and work his knee strikes, but multiple dumps and range striking from Petchutong was too much.  The referee called the doctor in during the 4th round and he halted the bought.

In an aggressive performance from Sittichai Sitsongpeenong, he was able to turn up the volume in the third round.  Sittichai controlled the third round, building on his offense throughout the fight, landing the harder kicks and punches.  Maruay Sitjepond looked to get back into the fight in the fourth before Sittichai took over again, landing harder and really pushing Maruay.  The referee halted the bout in the fourth, believing Maruay had reached his limit of punishment.  Sittichai won the Lumpinee Stadium Welterweight (147lb) Title.
