Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino Out of Invicta FC 10 with Injury

Announced today on the Invicta FC 9 broadcast, which took place on November 1st, Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino has been pulled from Invicta FC 10 fight card on December 5th.  An apparent injury to her left ankle has lead to Cristiane being pulled from the main event of Invicta FC 10.  Justino was scheduled to make her much anticipated drop to the bantamweight division.

In her place, Invicta FC’s Atomweight Champion Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson will take on 22-year-old Brazilian, Herica Tiburcio.  Michelle Waterson defended her title for the first time in September, stopping Japanese MMA veteran Yasuko Tamada in the third round with strikes. Michelle Waterson was able to take the title from TUF 20 contestant Jessica Penne in a fight of the year contender at Invcita FC 5.  Michell is 12-3 in MMA, including 10 finishes and a 3-0 record in Invicta.

Herica will be making her Invicta FC debut on a three fight winning streak.  Herica Tiburcio brings an 8-2 record into this bout, including 6 submission finishes.  Tiburcio most recently defeated Aline Sattlemayer (7-5) in a strawweight bout in Brazil.
