BRACE 2014 Grand Final: 6 Title Fights on Stacked Main Card

With six title fights on the card, BRACE puts everything together for the 2014 Grand Final this Saturday, November 22nd.  The event will begin at 6:30pm local time from the AIS Arena in Canberra.  Tickets are still available for the event and can be purchased here.  The event will be streamed live here.

A battle of welterweight prospects as Corey “Major” Nelson (17-5-1) takes on Steve Micallef (7-0).  Corey Nelson won the BRACE Welterweight Title at BRACE 19.  The former Nitro and AFC Welterweight Champion “Major” Nelson will look to defend his BRACE title for the first time.  Sydney based fighter Steve Micallef has yet to lose in his professional MMA career, including two straight wins under the BRACE banner.  Micallef won the chance to face Corey Nelson after his first round submission of Regan Wilson at BRACE 29.

Undefeated featherweights JJ Van Aswegen and Jamie Mullarkey will look to win their fifth pro MMA contest, winning a title in the process.  South African born JJ Van Aswegen is undefeated under the BRACE banner, winning all four of his fights with the promotion.  JJ Van Aswegen trains with Beston Gracie JJ in Newcastle.  Jamie Mullarkey has won three of his four bouts under the BRACE Banner, inluding his latest win over Kiwi fighter Byron Cowell.
