K-1 Signs New Chinese Broadcast Deal, Announces Ten Events to Broadcast Live in China

Announced yesterday by K-1 officials, the promotion has signed a deal to broadcast K-1 events on television in China.  The deal will see ten live events be broadcast across 9 television networks; Hunan TV, Hebei TV, Hubei TV, JiangXi TV, Anhui TV,Chongqing TV, Guangdong TV, Hainan TV, and Qinghai TV.

Officials have also announced the first event with take place on January 1st from Golden Eagle Culture City, Changsha, China.  The three hour long event with air at 20:00 local time and feature a “China vs USA” theme.  No fights have been announced for the event, but two more events have been announced, “China vs Japan” on February 1st and “China vs Thailand” on March 28th.  The events will feature 5 match-ups between the battling countries, as well as super fights on the three hour event.  Officials also announced that 2015 will feature K-1 crowning champions in every weight-class, the Chinese fans can follow FSA and K-1 China for more event information as it is announced.
