Roshambo MMA 4 Live Stream: Two Titles on the Line

Roshambo MMA returns to Queensland, Australia on Saturday, December 6th.  The event will be streamed live on GFL.tv at 4am EST (5pm local time) and is available for purchase for only $9.99.  The event is headlined by two title fights in the welterweight and featherweight divisions.  The main event features a welterweight title fight between Brisbane natives, Dean Purdon (5-4) and Jay Cobain (7-9-1).  The co-main event is a female featherweight title bout (65.8kg) between Megan Anderson (3-1) and Zoie Shreiweis (1-2).

Dean “The Punisher” Purdon earned his title fight after a disqualification win at Roshambo MMA 3.  Dean had lost four straight previously, although three of those bouts were to very good fighters, after starting his pro career 4-0.  Jay “Freight Train” Cobain is also coming off of a loss at XFC Australia 19 in July of last year.  Cobain has also faced good competition on the Australian MMA fight scene and has finished six of his seven wins.  Purdon will look to push the pace in this fight, but his aggression could work into Cobain’s submission game.

The Women’s Featherweight title is on the line when Megan Anderson steps back into the cage, putting her three fight win streak on the line against Zoie Shreiweis.  Megan’s most recent win, a submission finish at Nitro 12 against Jodie Struzik.  Megan won a majority decision over Kiwi fighter, Kerry Barrett at Roshambo MMA 3 in July.  Zoie Shreiweis has had a tough time in her past two fights, losing with an injury in August and earlier in the year to Invicta FC fighter Jessy Rose-ClarkZoie’s only win in her pro career is also Megan Anderson’s only loss.  How will the rematch play out?
