Super Fight League 36: Seattle Superhero Phoenix Jones Returns to MMA, Two Title Fights

Super Fight League returns to the United States for SFL 36 presented by Cage Sport MMA.  The event will be streamed live.  The fights begin at 7:00pm local time (PST).  The event features two title fights, a lightweight title fight between Harrison Bevens (8-2) and Julian Erosa (12-2) and a welterweight title fight between Ben Fodor (5-0) and Tyson Cunningham (3-0). The headline fight on this card is the welterweight title fight between Bevens and Erosa, but the real main event of the evening is the MMA return of Seattle’s superhero Phoenix Jones.  A man who takes to the streets at night to patrol with his crew to fight crime.  Phoenix Jones and his crew run the streets in an attempt to prevent crimes in Seattle, WA.  Jones use of the state’s mutual combat law doesn’t come without MMA training.  Phoenix Jones day-time likeness is the undefeated pro fighter, Ben Fodor.  Fodor will be taking on undefeated Enumclaw, WA native, Tyson Cunningham.  Tyson will look to land his heavy hands and put a halt to Ben’s crime fighting. Harrison Bevens continues to become a well-rounded MMA fighter, winning at Cage Sport 31 pushed his record to 7-2 with the promotion.  Bevens will be facing Yakima MMA’s Julian Erosa for the vacant lightweight title fight.  Julian has 14 pro fights and has only lost to two of Washington’s best, Drew Brokenshire (13-4) and Lee Morrison (13-5).  Julian has finished all but one fight, including 7 submissions.  This fight should end before the end of the fifth round. Two now local fighters, having moved from other countries, collide as Armenian fighter Albert Tadevosyan (3-0) fights Tonga’s Taki Uluilakepa (2-1).   SFL STREAM
