Jessy Rose Clark (aka Jessy Jess) signs with Invicta FC

Australian bantamweight prospect Jessy Rose Clark (pictured with Grandmaster Relson Gracie) has signed a deal with Invicta FC just days after a her opponent pulled out of last weekends AFC 11 due to complications in cutting weight. Jessy took to facebook to announce the news.

Jessy Jess had an alternative childhood, but was looking to get back in shape in Sydney when she joined a gym offering MMA. Subsequently her passion has become a quest for world class competition since settling at Integrated MMA in Brisbane. In under 2 years Jessy Jess (5-1) gained the necessary experience, whilst picking up titles on XFC, Roshambo and UCU promotions in Queensland. In 2013 Jessy had notable victories over world class boxer Arlene Blencowe at Nitro MMA 9 and then defeated world champion kickboxer Eileen Forrest at Combat8:03, in Sydney (modified MMA, see below).

In mid 2014 Jessy defeated New Zealand fighter Kate De Silva, a noted grappler, picking up the TKO victory at XFC 21 for the vacant Bantamweight strap. Jessy’s most recent fight was a 5 round decision victory over Rhiannon Thompson at Roshambo MMA 3. With trademark pink hair another Australian MMA fighter has her sights set on making the big time.
